Carburetors can be adjusted in the idling range by screwdrivers with experience or by CO testers. For the entire speed range of the engine that cannot be done. In earlier times we checked the "spark plugs picture". Today the determination of the so-called Lambda values for injecting and carburetor engines helps fast and reliable (remainder oxygen portion in the exhaust gas) .
On the basis of these values, in form of a diagram, the carburetor or the fuel injection system can be adapted to the respective requirements. For this purpose a probe with thread M 18x1,5mm is screwed into the exhaust manifold. If no connection is present, an appropriate sleeve is welded.
