Week 51


In the last days we cared about an 1000 DS SS engine from our friends from denmark (JSB Racing/Thunder Vikings Racing Team) and we still do.


The engine gets a complete tuning and weight reduction. We started with all the gears and the gear drum and ended up with the crankshaft equipped with Carrillo rods. The engine gets all the fine and light parts to optimize the weight per horsepower. If you would know how the rolling chassis looks you can imagine what a rocket this will be. Of course we will show you more pictures when the bike is together. Back to the engine.


Additionally the capacity was extended on 1098 cc together with Pistal HC piston and accomplished with a Headporting. Valves now 47mm inlet and 41mm exhaust. Special cam shafts are still in production.

To show what the engine can performe here are two charts from may 2008. Vehicle is our 2V Testa Demon. That is the race variant! Not recommended for street. For road we recommend operating performance levels from 112 to 115 hp.
