We grind the rocker arms after hardchroming again! The grinding surface is across to the run direction, to avoid that the oil runs off. In this grinding surface the oil film stays perfectly for the lubrication of cam and rocker arm, because it lies crosswise to the rotation direction!
After the reworking the levers look differently than the original. The surface differs from the original! This belongs to the reworking!

Artikel gut, Ventilspiel nachkontrollieren Review by Andi
Overall Impression Ich habe die Kipphebel im Januar 2016 bestellt, eingebaut und jetzt erst Anfang 2019 nach 7000 Kilometer das erste mal wieder Ventilspiel und Hebel vermessen/nachkontrolliert.
Wie ich sehen konnte haben sich die Kipphebel alle eingearbeitet und werden auf der Lauffläche jetzt wieder glatt. Die Nockenwellen sehen gut aus ohne Spuren, etc.
Das Ventilspiel war dadurch aber schon ordentlich angewachsen, da ich allerdings meistens sowieso nur gemütlich fahre war es für mich unbedenklich.
Wenn man ständig höher dreht oder auf der Rennsterecke fährt sollte man auf jedenfall früher kontrollieren, zumindest bis sich die Hebeln eingearbeitet haben.
Die Chromschicht der Kipphebeln ist ansonsten unbeschädigt und es sieht so aus als ob die Hebeln noch viele weitere Jahre in meinem 916er Triebwerk verbleiben werden.
