1199 Panigale tuning examples
Like Ducati 1098/1198 has shown, the main point of Ducati Panigale tuning should be handling, handling. HANDLING and raising torque in the middle rpm´s, means changing engine character to a little bit more to "Ducati style"
Most influence of the torque in the middle rpm´s has the exhaust and the lenghts of the exhaust manifolds. Here it is possible to mobilize 20HP more in the middle rpm´s, of course just with the correct air-fuel adjustment! So as you can imagine, here are a lot of possibilities for tuning.
Best results got the for Panigale. By the way, this exhaust system aso helps to cool down the engine, because there is no heatspot directly under the engine, like original. Also a big problem with the under engine exhauts, sometimes they heat up the rear tyre so much that handling get´s worse. This are problems you won´t have with the , but it looks a little bit.... let´s say "different" ;-)
The looks much better. This exhaust is made complete from titanium and has a total weight of 6,5Kg, means 4,8Kg lighter than the original exhaust. Power raises of 12,8Hp and 17,9Nm are possible with this exhaust!
For the chassis we want to spotlight our Pure TEC tie rod linkage for the rear shock of the Panigale 899/1199. With this part it is possible to adjust the rear 22% more hard or 14% more soft than the original without changing the spring! Original point is marked, of course!

Also a highlight for the Panigale chassis is this adjustable magnesium triple clamp with a total weight of just 2Kg. With this triple clamp you can change the offset by using different inlets up from 25mm to 30mm in 1mm steps. Chris Zaiser used this triple clamp with 28mm offset in Most and had best results. Laptimes constantly 1 to 1,5sec better, much better steering, complete chassis is more stable and less nervous and it´s possible get much faster out of the corners!
For a better engine runaway we prepare a light flywheel. The original flywheel has a total weight of 1,95Kg, our light flywheel will have a total weight of less than 1Kg.
More than 950g weight saved!
To make the "breathing" for this big volume V2 engine much more easy you can use a special race airfilter. The original airfilter is one of the first parts you should change if you want to tune your Panigale, because an engine can not deploy its complete performance when the intake is closed by an original airfilter!
As you know, the Panigale is a very light bike, one of the lightes in its class, but this doesnt mean it´s not possible to save more weight. Best example is this 1,3Kg light aluminium rear frame
And if you are one of the extreme lightweight lovers and this filigree aluminium rear frame is still to heavy for your bike, we have exaclty the right part for you. Self supporting carbon seat, best workanship, absolutly precious and it has a total weight of just 1300g! More weight saving is not possible!

If you ride your Panigale with a race airfilter or an other exhaust or any other changes in the engine, it is absolutly necessary to adjust the air-fuel management, first to avoid engine damages and second for maximum performance. For adjustment you can use a or a . Mappings can be ordered separately, and if you like we can do a complete personal dyno adjustment here in our shop!
